We should NEVER, EVER accept M/U time as a remedy. To have us fight amongst ourselves to get open time trips while further watering down the staffing model is self-defeating. M/U will turn potential draft calls into straight-time and delay hiring. If we accept any M/U as the solution, we will only be extending the effects of 4a2b while reaffirming to the company that they did exactly the "right" thing (from their perspective).
