SkyWest Inc. will purchase the remnants of Comair and Mesa. Mesaba and Compass will also be purchased, either as airlines or assets. The only question is when. Delta wants out of the regional business. Post Colgan, the liability is too high, and the new FAA regs will hurt the profit levels. Anything else is wishful thinking.
