It is is not only Comair management, it's also DL!

I am happy to finally see some good news for Comair, but I also feel bad for the Freedom guys, which is the only reason we got this flying and I hope this recall with be permanent and they can bring back some more pilots, but Comair still has a lot of obstacles in front of them, including contract negotiations and I hope they won't pull what UPS Mgmt. is doing right now to their pilots and I sincerely hope that Comair is not being used like usual as a reserve regional to "temporarily" cover the F8 flying while DL is looking to assign it again to some other DCI carrier.
Exactly. When management at Comair demonstrates integrity by honoring their commitments, and does so for a length of time greater than they've spent not living up to their word, I'll be the first to step up and go the extra mile.

Unfortunately, this recall once again clearly shows the lack of talent, vision, innovation, and leadership over in the G.O. The company is getting additional flying not because it is leading the regional segment of the industry in innovation, efficiency, and customer service. The block hour increase is solely because a competitor failed, and Delta finds itself quickly needing replacement lift.

These extra block hours can disappear just as unexpectedly as they appeared, and when Comair management is content to do nothing more than answer the phone when it rings from Atlanta and say "Yes Sir, whatever you want." I find it difficult to believe our efforts as employees are in any way connected to the company's destiny.
