Yep. He was "hired" by mx PRE-furlough. I know him and he couldn't be a nicer guy. I just don't understand why he is on the furlough list when he wasn't a line pilot. Ditto - he was in my class and I was honestly happy to see him able to provide for his family. But I also think it sets a bad precedent to allow a nonunion pilot take a slot that someone in the union should have filled. Unfortunately, like a lot of areas of our contract, it was allowed!
