The one's you read "just want to work again" probably aren't bypassing. Those that are probably have decent jobs right now and are waiting as long as they can to snag as much QOL as possible when they get back. As long as they have someone junior to them on the furlough list they can still bypass. Once all of the recalls are called back they'll all have to either return or resign. Hopefully they all understand that they're losing longevity with each bypass. But with our pay rate structure I suppose that doesn't have much of an impact anyway...
