I love hearing these furloughed guys talk about what a mess IAD is when they haven't even been a part of the operation. It runs a heck of a lot smoother than any day in ATL.
From what I can tell the operation on the United side is wonderful.
It's not the
operation, that is a mess. . .rather the recent nightmare in regards to scheduling and having to canx many many flights because of it.
Ive heard nothing but WONDERFUL things coming from those who fly on the United side of the house, so much so that it'd be worth it to me to commute up there to escape the silliness of Delta operations. It's a tough balancing act.
Nevertheless, don't think a lot of us furloughed guys are talking about the operational mess - rather the most recent ridiculous behavior from our company in regards to failed planning of resources (crew staffing).
