These pilots got a great opportunity to go through training at Comair along with 50 or more jet hours.
Your description of the vast majority of those hired simply isn't accurate... there were CFI, 121, 135, 91 jobs... all represented.
Try thinking outside of the box a bit when it comes to defining "being screwed". There's more to life than just gaining a little bit of flying experience. There were families involved, other than flying careers, prior flying opportunities, TIME, MONEY. For example... I estimate my financial losses, as a direct result of Comair hiring me then immediately furloughing me, to be in the ballpark of $50000 lost income. My previous income over 1.5 yrs - Comair income/unemployment income/present income = ~($50000)
I'm not sure why you would want to push this agenda. You might just want to apologize and move on with life. Good luck to you.
