Because if they buy another ALPA regional they will have to merge it with ASA to keep SkyWest Airlines non union.
If they try to run it as another sub, the ASA MEC will file a single carrier petition to end the whipsaw sure to follow.
You do realize that there is a difference between SkyWest Inc and its subsidiary SkyWest Airlines, right?
