If you turn down the assignment (7 day opt) you will be retained until your ADSC is up... that means you will get an assignment... and it won't be pretty... only thing that you have protecting you is that you cannot incur any additional ADSC from what AFPC will do to you. My guess is you will get a one year remote or 365... problem you will run into is not being current flying status and getting a job outside the AF.

Make sure you think this through... big decision. Good Luck.
