Greetings!

As you are probably aware, a positive shift is beginning to happen in the industry with the announcement of Delta’s hiring plans as well as other changes. To say that this is good news, is indeed an understatment.
In an effort to ensure that we are prepared for any possible opportunity that may come our way, I would like to get an assessment from each of you. Please provide me with the following information, as well as any other information that you feel is pertinent:

· Recency of experience within the last six months to include the amount of flight hours and type of experience
· Availability date for possible ground school
· Any background information that you feel we need to be aware of

As you may or may not know, the typical footprint of new hire training events start with an EMB class and then followed by any necessary CRJ classes. Each of you were “ear-marked” for a particular aircraft type when you were interviewed. We assessed each individual and attempted to place you in the aircraft that we felt would promote the most success for you and for SkyWest. For now, that “re-assessment” will be accomplished with this correspondence.
We are excited about the possibilities that could come our way with this positive shift in the industry. If history repeats itself, and I have no doubt that it will, we will be given very little notice to react to any opportunity. So as I mentioned above, I would like to be as prepared as possible. You could help me out a great deal by responding to me as quickly as possible.
