They actually gave you a reason? My rejection email specifically says no feedback. 55 tonnes, and 30 tonnes are the two weights typically thrown around. I've not heard reference to 40 tonnes.

There does not seem to be a logical method for selection. Some guys have been called is CRJ time. The aircraft I'm flying at the moment is over 30 tonnes, but well under 55t.

I'm not sure if there's still a chance to get a call for interview. I think it will all be based on how many bodies they need, and how many apply.
