To all furloughed United pilots,
We will be filling two “new hire” classes at SkyWest Airlines in accordance with LOA 03-22 “Job Opportunities for Furloughed United Pilots”. The first is scheduled to start on 8 September 2010 and has 20 positions available. The second is scheduled to start on 20 September 2010 and has 16 positions available. These are FO positions in the Brasilia (EMB120) at second year CRJ 700 pay. Positions for the 8 September class will be filled in seniority order based on a furloughed pilot’s preference indicated by their submitted FCOL Preference form on file as of 1200 CDT Tuesday, 17 August 2010. Positions for the 20 September class will be filled in seniority order based on a furloughed pilot’s preference indicated by their submitted FCOL Preference form on file as of 1200 CDT Tuesday, 24 August 2010. If you are interested in an opportunity with SkyWest flying the Brasilia (EMB120) and you have previously submitted an FCOL Preference form indicating a preference to work at SkyWest or “First Available”, there is no need to submit a new FCOL Preference form, unless you wish to change your preference or contact information.
