Turned out we were in the parking lot of the school. I was a few steps behind her trying to get her to stop and get back into the car, but I walked in just as the Chief Pilot was rushing by the front door trying to get to a meeting. He told me that I caught him at a really bad time and that he'd call me in a week. I waited until yesterday, 15 minutes prior to when he usually leaves for the weekend to try and reach him about when he'd like me to start. Receptionist took my name and number. Now I feel like he has changed his mind about hiring me, and is giving me the cold shoulder.

He hired 6 new instructors including myself, so some people think that he was just too busy to make any calls, but I think I lost the job.

Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? My girl wants me to write an email to him explaining why "we" popped in, which I think is a bad idea. I really wanted this CFI job, seems like a great place to work for and I would be flying on a regular basis again Any advice would be welcomed.
J,

Don't worry about it - just wait it out. More so, don't act too desperate or insecure about the job. Tell your girl to chill and things will fall into place...no need for an e-mail. You got it all under control.

If he hired you don't worry about it - now, in a couple weeks more and you haven't heard anything from him...I'd probably try to find out what's going on.

Take care man!
