Maybe so, maybe not. Like I said before, should UPS replace the IPA, the boxheads in ATL will see that as a golden opportunity to cut mgmt pilot pay as well. They will say something like the "airline is not currently profitable", "need to cut costs while rebuilding", etc. You will take at least a 50% cut, SCAB pay plus 5% if you're lucky. If you believe otherwise, think again -- you know how this place works.

Retirement? Do you think you will ever see it? Good luck keeping your medical to age 60 or whatever it may change to. Even if you do make it to retirement age, you will die shortly thereafter. Your body is going to go through hell as you'll be flying the back side of the clock to FAR limits for the rest of your career. I'm sure your wife will enjoy your retirement package though.
