I remember when the first female pilot in our squadron was to get her new callsign. The Wing Commander showed up to "supervise", I remember seeing the SQ/DO say to the WG/CC, "do you think their SA is that low".
Well, apparently in the squadron in question, their SA was that low. The person we are talking about would never say whether he was straight or gay, regardless as to which way he leaned, his lack of committal would lead most aviators to conclude he was gay.
In the world we live in today, why in the world would a SQ/CC allow a call sign of this nature, for someone who might be gay.
Seriously, if you just flew a sortie with someone who had such low SA, how would the debrief go. It doesn't surprise me they got sacked.
Now, like always happens, one persons screw-up will result in everyone being punished.
Make that 2 for the minority
