I'm not sure where you got that impression from. Having flown with SB many many times, he is definitely not a negative person. He's actually quite gung-ho. He'll tell you how it is, and how things hopefully will be.

Having said that, I believe he was overshadowed by DS. If he is actually departing, it might be due to the fact that the company hired from outside rather from within to replace DS.
