He's delusional if he thinks he is not at risk.
With the sale of Compass and Mesaba and now this, Delta management is obviously getting out of the RJ business any way they can. No buyers for Comair as currently structured, so they break it down. Yesterday's announcement may even have been at the request of SkyWest or Pinnacle. The deal may already be done. What will happen to those last 44 jets at Comair is anybody's guess.
Sold all at once? Sold a few at a time? Will crews go with them?
Will the Comair brand survive? Who knows?
