It will get us off the gate and improve D-0 which is what they are trying to do, but it places us in the position of doing more when we need to be doing less. If 100% of us stick to the procedure of not calling for taxi until we have the performance checklist complete, this won't last long. Ramp and Ground are gonna love us when this starts up!
I disagree that this will help D-0. How often are you late because the AWABS was late? I can't remember the last time I was waiting on the numbers. We are making a huge change to fix a problem on less than 1% of flights.
