first yes Delta does pay for PNCL fuel...but I am sure that cost is accounted for since it is a direct cost for daddy D. A few things that are not really taken in perspective is that the place PNCL chooses to operate such as Memphis is very cheap in terms of labor...also Detroit. So if you put that in the equation then you get closer to why PNCL is cheap.

Although pilot wages are a factor...in terms of business...it's a drop in the bucket. Everyone looks at the bottom of our payscale and thinks we all get paid 20/hr but our most junior FO must be on 3 year pay now. I don't know the facts on that but suspect I am really close...

Anyhow...just a thought for people trying to consider cost per airline...
