As someone that operates pushbacks all day long, that scares the **** outa me!

I'd very much like to know what happened. Shouldn't they have had the brakes set? And what would cause them to have to tow the aircraft into the gate when it can obviously do so under its own power. Is it normal to tow larger aircraft like this into the gate?
