I am active duty coast guard right now, and currently there are NO waivers being granted for entry into the CG. we are overbilleted and underbudgeted, and there are an IMMENSE amount of recruits trying to get in, so at this point they are only picking the best of the best, and they dont need to go through the hassle of waivers. how will this be in 5 years? i dont know, hopefully things will be a bit different. this link is coming from a recruiter directly:
