Carl; That is easy to say from the seat of a 744. Most of these pilot were 1) not educated on the industry as a whole and 2) really had no other option.

They are not scare tactics Carl, they are the way I see them. This challenge to the power base is something they will need to deal with, and if it is successful, I suspect that the same faces will appear in positions of power.

As for UAUA and CAL, thus far they are proving they can fight for scope at the local level. I hope they can convert that in to a actual contractual line item. That will prove to many the ability of a mainline carrier to hold a line. At a min it shows now that they can fight for the flying they gave up.
