I think he did a great job pulling the NetJets training department into the 21st century. Santulli gave him enough power to make it happen- rare pre-Sokol for major internal changes with everyone so entrenched. He was also promised a higher management position in the future and once Santulli was gone he knew that wasn't going to happen. I don't blame him at all for bailing for Fedex and I'd imagine he is probably doing a good job for them as long as they gave him the power to do what needs to be done. I have no idea if he really did a good job at USAir- that is just what I heard. I have no idea if he blew a bunch of smoke up some peoples rears while at NJA. I just know he made many big and good changes to the training department that needed to be made. That is the important part in my opinion.
