I don't know actually. I guess the burr under my saddle is that the union president is pulling down almost $500K/year. That is hardly a representative income of any of the individual associations within his fiefdom. His housing allowance alone is more than most FOs and even some captains that he supposedly represents make. I don't know about you guys, but I find that not only wrong, but utterly insulting. Why should he have an allowance that pays the mortgage on a million dollar property? Elect me, and I'll personally see to it that the president makes NO MORE than the highest paid captain at his representative airline. You want the job? Go for it, but remember.. commuting is a choice. Don't want to commute? Then move.. at your own expense.... just like the rest of us.

EDIT: I am not necessarily an advocate of the DPA, but I sure as hell want to see a wholesale house cleaning at national. If we don't see it after the election, I'm sending in a card. The gauntlet is down.
