We had a lot to look forward to before this deal. Do not think we are jumping for joy because we got bought by Pinnalce Corp.
Dang son you are supposed to sip the koolaid not chug it. Anyone who thinks they had a lot to look forward to at mesaba had way to much koolaid to drink and even had their koolaid goggles on. Flow through was going away. Delta didnt want it anymore. The Saabs were on their way out the door. The 200's mesaba had would have been next on the chopping block along with comair's 200s. Selling mesaba off was the easy way out.
I also think all the furloughed and future furloughees were very happy and jumping for joy to know the weren't losing their pay, health coverage, or that they would be getting those things back. Your all welcome

After all it could have been transtates. Now hopefully we can get a good contract for us all.
And in another post you mentioned pay rates. Mesaba pay rates aren't much better than pinnacle. Especially when you all pay 3 to 20 times as much as us for healthcare.
