oh and btw... I'll "shut up" about your Reps when you guys stop criticizing ours for upholding the pilot group's wishes...
Oh, you're right....I'm sure you know him better than I do. My bad.

You provided another fine example of when the kids should stay on the porch....thanks for clearing that up, cencal

I am proud of our MEC Chair and am thankful to have him as our MEC Chair and know he will do us proud as our new EVP starting Jan 1.

This is a man who was critical in bringing a union onto a non union property. And then just a few months after voting in ALPA gets thrown into the spotlight with 3407. For the past few years he has been working in Memphis, picking up open time flying in EWR and trying to live a life in Texas. And unlike other airlines, all time he picks up flying goes back to credit his ALPA buy. Mark has truly sacraficed his life for the sake and benefit of his pilots!

Thank you Mark for your hours and dedication you have given this pilot group!!

And, are you really this much a joy to fly with on the line, since that'll probably be happening?

Whatever happened to the mellow cruise from "the other forum". You been to one of those pow-wows?

As you should be. Do I have a personal beef with him? No. I know that he's supported SE before, just not in this instance. In fact he had glowing reviews of our MEC Chair...

the whole point of the reverse exercise was to point out... you criticize your guys, and we'll criticize ours... when we combine, then we collectively b* as a group about who is in charge...

We've got a TA though. Now anyone who gets elected is going to get to ride the coat-tails of the good will of us pilots (provided the seniority list integration is fair and painful). lol

Sorry man, you just don't get it....but that's ok, you will eventually.

As a matter of fact, I am fun to fly with....just ask around. And yes, I've been to many of those pow-wows you're talking about.

The mellow Cruise is right here....always has been. However, when you start bashing the actions of my fellow MEC members, when you obviously have little clue as to what you're talking about, I'm going to call you out. I've remained relatively silent regarding this whole debacle....and I'm not going to start sharing my opinions regarding MEC actions here. It's not the proper forum.

We all have to do what we think is the best course of action for our group. We're not always going to agree, either (obviously). But if you know our MEC chair as well as you claim to, then you should have sent him a PM and shared your opinion that way.....not via a public post on a stupid message board where there's a ton of internet heros and real-life chumps.

I look forward to the TA improving the lives of ALL of our pilots, all 3,000+. We need to start somewhere and this TA will be that springboard. As others have said, there's way more to a contract than simple pay rates. Rates are important.....but the real money is in the work rules.

Hey... when you guys stop pulling the same lame stunts regarding our MEC... I'll do the same. You just don't get it.... but that's okay, you'll get it eventually.

Seriously... are you really that blind to what you guys have been writing about our MEC? Deserved or undeserved, you were still bashing the 9E MEC in public.

GUYS, seriously can we just take a look at the contract and vote on it and move on? We are no longer Pinnacle, Mesaba and Colgan...we are ONE. The sooner we all start thinking that way, the better off we will be.

Can we let things go for a bit please? Every MEC, every rep, every pilot will admit their own flaws and every group will be given their due accolades. NOTHING is accomplished by belittling each other. I have met all of those being bashed within this thread (including personally being bashed a few pages back) and the fact of the matter is everyone has been working towards a common goal and has done a good job. We are all "coworkers" whether we like it or not.

You'll notice I did not single out any one MEC! But hey, just read what you want. Instead, I talked about a 3,000+ pilot group and a recent TA that is here to improve all of our lives and hopefully raise the bar for the industry.

Like I said, you don't get it. I'm done with you and this ridiculous thread.

+1...

Thanks to the JNC for putting the pilot group ahead of their personal lives for the past few months. As far as the MECs go we are all on the same team, though I disagree with some of the decisions made by the PCL MEC, I'll be the first one to drink some suds and bury the hatchet. Corny as it sounds, unity is our strength.
