Nope, they used to but the contract says you can only be trained and checked in the position you hold. A specific Captain filed a grievence because they were qualifiying him on SIC too. So the result is: no more PIC types. With their new emergence into ETOPS and international that could always change (but I wouldn't hold my breath).
