The Air Force sent out a world-wide email to announce this three weeks ago. In the second sentence, when I read the part that said "...this culminates a none-month search..." I stopped reading. The link in the OP said it cost $400,000. Well-spent.
Some in the link complained it glorifies air operations and combat instead of computers, admin, and nuclear surety. That's funny; I didn't know they changed the name to United States Computer Friends.
The comparison was made to the Marine's timeless and enduring Semper Fi. It got me thinking: what statement could be made that encapsulates the mission of the Air Force, nee, all combat forces?
The answer from Arnold Swarzenneger and Conan the Barbarian:
"Crush your enemies, see them driven before you... and hear the lamentations of their women!
One last thought:
The duty of the fighter pilot is to patrol his area of the sky, and shoot down any enemy fighters in that area. Anything else is rubbish.
