Aim High - Fly, Fight, Win

Useless
Slogans
Are
Futile
The Air Force sent out a world-wide email to announce this three weeks ago. In the second sentence, when I read the part that said "...this culminates a none-month search..." I stopped reading. The link in the OP said it cost $400,000. Well-spent.
Some in the link complained it glorifies air operations and combat instead of computers, admin, and nuclear surety. That's funny; I didn't know they changed the name to United States Computer Friends.
The comparison was made to the Marine's timeless and enduring Semper Fi. It got me thinking: what statement could be made that encapsulates the mission of the Air Force, nee, all combat forces?
The answer from Arnold Swarzenneger and Conan the Barbarian:
"Crush your enemies, see them driven before you... and hear the lamentations of their women!
One last thought:
The duty of the fighter pilot is to patrol his area of the sky, and shoot down any enemy fighters in that area. Anything else is rubbish.
— Captain Manfred Baron Manfred von Richtofen, 1917.

Hacker: the time machine was invented in 1985 and is in the possession of Dr. E. Brown and Marty McFly
Now can we get rid of the AF origami symbol and bring back the original Hap Arnold? I don't know if it is supposed to be wings or a ribbon surrounding the star.
What would happen to the Marine Corps Commandant if he suggested a modernized version of their Globe and Anchor?

If I had extra rounds (meaning already made it) at the 500 yd line, or got it with some left - I always aimed a **little** high. Those head shots just made me feel.....good

As for the thread subject.
I can't say that I am a fan of it.

I always took the "Aim High" slogan of the USAF as ... set your goals high ... or possibly a double play on ... look to the sky (fly). But everyone always relates the slogan to shooting. And I've heard guys say that it was a throw back to the WWII gunners who had to "aim high" in order to hit their targets? Who knows?
Either way, the new slogan sucks and it is totally representative of whats wrong with our government and the Air Force.
