I'm by no means a lawyer, and I am very thankful to my union reps for organizing and learning everything they do, because all of this is mind boggling at times.
This is from the MEC Protocol statement:
6. Within 29 days after a full language Tentative Agreement (TA) has been reached on a JCBA, the PCL, MSA and CJC MECs shall convene in a joint session to receive a briefing on the TA from the JNC and staff. Immediately following this briefing, the three MECs shall then convene in separate MEC meetings and each MEC shall decide whether to approve the TA for a membership ratification vote. If all three MECs approve the TA for a membership ratification vote, the JCBA TA will be then promptly be submitted for a combined membership ratification vote of the three pilot groups.
A combined membership ratification vote means to me that we all vote as one group, but I could be mistaken.
