I've got two failed orals, no failed checkrides. Don't know if there is a difference in the eyes of the airlines. Probably not. The first one I'll take responsibilty for, the second one was kinda BS. Really BS, actually. No DUI's, no speeding tickets in the last 5 years. It would really suck if that's what ruins my prospects for employment. Your situation is fine. Be ready to explain how you learned from your mistakes and have moved on, as evidenced by XXXXXX. The five years since on traffic tickets is great.
