I'm going to guess you'd have to do three circles to remove the restriction from three types. Didn't see anything in the FSIMS about removing the circling restriction. My logic is you've never done a circle to land. If you had a couple types at the COMM level and then got an ATP, the types upgrade because you were held to ATP standards even for a type on a PVT. You would had done everything to the ATP level, just didn't have a place to put it.
You're at the other end of the scale. The type rating is for that aircraft. Think about. Why would I have to show a 2 engine out approach and landing in a 747 if I've done one in a 727? In fact, why have the checkride? I've done steep turns and stalls in an airplane, just not this one. Let's just do the oral and fill out the paperwork.
