There is a difference. The Airbus pilots are working under a completely different CBA than the E190 pilots. You won't see any Republic pilots fly an Airbus for years. You also won't see a new contract for years. This will be another US Airways' situation. The entire company might go out of business before this thing's even resolved. I wouldn't get too hung up on the seniority list as it will probably never be implemented.
