That's the thing will this career. Its a bunch of pilots taking s h i t t y jobs while constantly telling themselves "it'll be better when I get to company A, I just have to hold out until I get _____, honey it will just be for a few more years, once I upgrade and get to _______ we can get married, buy a house, start a family, im miserable now but once I get to ______ it will all be better, if I just suck it up with these 5 roommates until I get to _______ then ill be living the high life with a great schedule" blah blah blah. Don't you see? Talk to guys who are in their 40's and above who are finally getting that "good schedule" and "decent pay".....more than half of them are either single or divorced and have nothing except a child support payment and big empty closet to hang their lonely uniform in. You think landing the 777 once a month makes up for all that? Enjoy your life NOW. Do what you love but don't who're yourself out for promise of a brighter future flying the "big iron". That's all this career is. Empty promises. Do what you love, stay true to yourself and your loved ones. If the career comes, great. Take it from me, you do not want to be that 30 year 747 captain who has to pickup 95 hours a month to pay his 4 wives house payments. When you die, you can't take siht with you. Ok im done, I think you guys understand.
