come on mooney you know how it is. We all have to pi ss so it might as well be on someone we think we are better than. What makes me laugh is that all these people talking on here that "think" they are at a better regional where they "think" they have moral superiority. In reality all they did was interview and get hired just like the rest of us. What person in their right mind sits back and says, "Ohhh I am going to hold out for my dream regional job with ASA/Skywest/Express Jet/Pinnacle/Mesaba/or whatever." If anyone is saying that then they are in the wrong business because they haven't done their homework. Regionals are just that. Regionals. No regional owns their flying. They are all working under a contract for someone else. Once that contract is up they get to hope that they get it renewed. As we have seen some places are not getting those contracts renewed. Or they are getting beaten down and now the places that were so good to be at have people on the street and planes being parked. And that is the best case scenario. Worst case scenario is the company loses the contracts, goes into bankruptcy, and then forces the pilots into a new contract that they dont want or like. And thats if they survive the bankruptcy and dont end up putting everyone on the street.

Pinnacle, while it lacks in many areas, has been good to me for over 5 years. I have a job where I live. I haven't been furloughed. I haven't been displaced. I haven't had to worry about my next pay check. Yes there are a lot of things that need to change and hopefully they will be fixed soon with the real contract we deserve, not the one they tried to give us over a year ago. Is it the same for everyone here? No. Some people came as street captains and got put back in the right seat. Some came here and have been on reserve for the last 2 years when reserve used to only last a few months. There are a lot of things that need help. However someone acting like they have moral superiority just because they HAPPEN to be at what they PRECIEVE to be a high end regional is laughable at best.
