I had spoken to a union lawyer, and he naturally made a point of telling me to do this, above anything else. I did not report the DUI to my current company though. I was not necessarily trying to hide it from them, just didn't think I had to. I know I would be asked about the circumstance of my DUI by a prospective employer, which I have no problem talking about and I have fully disclosed it on my applications, but would my prospective employer contact my current company and inquire about this? I know what is included in PRIA documents, but I don't know if they would take the extra step of asking about something like a DUI and whether I had reported it to them or not. Just curious, thanks for the answers in advance.
To my knowledge a PRIA requesting company wouldn't normally ask this type of question. The PRIA is for obtaining training records.
