I have a lot of respect to most 9E pilots. As I read a lot of these posts I wonder. Is 9E management the problem or is the 9E MEC the problem?

A lot of the exact same issues 9E is facing regarding management has already been seen by most XJ pilots. We went through bankruptcy. If you wanna talk about management going for cuts, we know all about it. But we came out of it pretty well. Is it because management caved...no. The MEC controlled the situation and ensured a positive outcome.

I really think the problem is 9E MEC. I would call it a complete lack of leadership and vision for what they want. Even though pilots are screaming for demonstrations, they need to remain level headed. Most people let their emotions run wild, the MEC cannot.

Regardless of what you think about the picketing, whether it was right or wrong, I think the 9E MEC has done an extremely poor job over the past few years and it continues. A couple picketing events will not change this perception.
