Pressure is high for college coaches to perform and produce a winner, especially in a state like Florida. Just look at Urban Meyer and the toll his job took on him. I'm sure he was 10 times happier in Utah. It's a thankless job... having to keep 100 kids in check, keep boosters/administration/fans happy, recruit, develop, etc. Long days in the office. I like my job better. Sure, I don't make much, but I stay healthy and keep my sanity (for the most part).

If you can call getting $6 large a year "thankless".. and being a hero to thousands of alums and students after winning 2 national championships "thankless" Throw me in that briar patch Brer Bear. Now given what the gaturs did this year, I think he sees the writing on the wall that his run was over.. and it's time to leave on top. Good for him. I wish he would have stayed though. I think everybody has his number now..
