The only change to the schedule I see is 492 going from a 400 to an 800. Most of the flights are oversold. 490 on the 29th is oversold by 31 but they are still selling seats on it. Looks like there might be some upset fans missing their flights.

Go Dawgs!

Addressing Mookie's question about player graduation rate, I don't know what it was under Don James. I think it was decent.

I can speak with 100% certainty about graduation rates under Neuheisel and Ty Willingham. Neuheisel's players had a higher graduation rate than Willingham. An article was published about 3 years ago about college football player graduation rates, and UW's dipped after Willingham took over. I was never a fan of Rick's, but he seemed to have a knack for getting the most out of his players at that time.

Willingham, on the other hand, is a loser both on and off the field. Anyway, sorry to digress into football discussion here.

Back to mergers & acquisitions...
Talking about college football is NEVER a digression. Anyway, the Canes were 7-5.. and Coach Shannon gets the ax. I'll bet all the incoming players will have to do is put an X on their letters of intent. It is truly shameful. ANd you are definitely right.. Willingham was a total zero..

Pressure is high for college coaches to perform and produce a winner, especially in a state like Florida. Just look at Urban Meyer and the toll his job took on him. I'm sure he was 10 times happier in Utah. It's a thankless job... having to keep 100 kids in check, keep boosters/administration/fans happy, recruit, develop, etc. Long days in the office. I like my job better. Sure, I don't make much, but I stay healthy and keep my sanity (for the most part).

If you can call getting $6 large a year "thankless".. and being a hero to thousands of alums and students after winning 2 national championships "thankless" Throw me in that briar patch Brer Bear. Now given what the gaturs did this year, I think he sees the writing on the wall that his run was over.. and it's time to leave on top. Good for him. I wish he would have stayed though. I think everybody has his number now..

Go Dawgs!
The flights that are oversold on the 29th are oversold by the exact number of seats that will be made available by converting the aircraft to -800s or -900s.

We beat Washington at the begining of the season soundly so why even play the game? Chock it up as another win for the Huskers!!!

Who's "we?" Were you wearing a helmet and pads for Nebraska the first time around? Just kidding...

I'm looking forward to the game. Yeah, Nebraska will probably win, but so be it. What I don't like is the two teams playing each other 3 times in a span of 12 months. That's just not right.

Like son, like father. There will come a day when ALK will have to run the numbers and have flights from Pullman to LAX-Pasadena
