What's going on there now?

200 are going to flow from Eagle to AA in the first half of this year. A total of over 1300 Eagle guys will be getting either direct flow, or preferential hiring depending where they are on the list. That's HALF of the Eagle pilot group.... which means that anybody getting hired there today will be getting their upgrade in under 4-5 years.... which is almost unheard of right now in this industry for a national air carrier.

are you talking about Eagle being divested sold or spun off ? Then apparently you don't know the history of AA and AMR very well. For the last 20 years when any pilot contract was being negotiated, Eagle was for sale, or going to be spun off... nothing new here, expect for the newbies who actually believe them.

I'd suggest he take Skywest, but only for the before mentioned reason of not having to commute. Absent that, Eagle currently would be the place to be for a newbie...
