On any future online applications when asked, why did you leave your previous employer? Should I indicate "termination" and risk not even receiving a phone call for an interview? I'm afraid with thousands of pilot apps, they will just move to the next applicant if they see termination.
Should I instead state "resignation" on the online application and issue all of the details to them when I arrive to the interview? In fact, I sent a resignation letter after my "carpet dance", but a termination letter followed.
Any advice?
This is going to be a rough road for future 121 employment due to the fact that a PRIA is going to be required by any future employer, and termination is going to be what they find. This is also a question on most airline applications, as well as airline apps, and in your case checking anything other than yes would be lying.
Perhaps Rickair will chime in however are you suggesting wrongful termination? If this is the case then by all means contact an aviation attorney first thing Monday.
