anyone advocating that we should get a 150% pay increase and only work 5 days/month. What I have seen is some folks (including me) advocating that we should get at least a 50% pay increase from our current rates over the life of our next contract. While that would not be full restoration by any stretch of the imagination... it would be a good step in the right direction.
As for your "working 5 days/month" comment... Personally, I have no problem being productive within reason and safety. Actually, I really enjoy my "work." I just think I/we should be compensated appropriately for it. What we have now is nowhere close to appropriate.
