How do you bid for reserve shifts and what are the chances of getting the days off you want? you pick the one you want and if your seniority holds it you get it
Is there a swap board or trade board so that you can trade your shifts with other pilots? Nope, you have to find someone to trade with then call screw support tell them about the trade then they will contact the pilot you're trading with to confirm the trade. It's not impossible but it only worked for me twice in 3 years
How felxible are crew tracking or I think you call them screw tracking? about as flexible as a titanium rod and half as smart.

They can't be as bad as Mesa. I'd be on the last day of a reserve shift. I'd have the last flight of the day leaving for home in 30 minutes but my reserve shift wouldn't finish for an hour. They would never release me the 30 minutes early so I could get home.

Or the other scenario on reserve you have flown 7.5 hours that day. There are no flights you can be scheduled for that would keep you legal but they still wont release you early just in case there is a repo flight or maintenance flight needed! Both of those scenerios have and will continue to happen. Last year they held a flight for almost two hours to dh me to sfo for christmas even though they had a reserve in sfo that could have done the trip. They have a crappy job to do and many of them do a crappy job at it. My advice, find one you can tolerate and make them your best friend for life. I had a FA tell me last week that she sends her friend in Screw support a pizza every so often to keep on good terms.
hope that helps
