First and foremost, you need to obtain a copy of your PRIA. That will shead light as to the severity of the comments relating to the termination of your employment from your last carrier.
The AOPA aviation plan covers stuff related to flight ops, FAA violations mainly. I doubt they would help with an employment issue.
I'm not sure you can "obtain your PRIA record" since it does not exist. PRIA is a reporting system, and the records in question are maintained mostly by your employers.
You can get a copy of all records returned anytime a potential employer conducts PRIA requests on you. You would have to research whether you can just demand a copy anytime you like.
