Complete the statement.
If only they could be like ALPA, their officers would be elected, their finances would be transparent, they'd have a constitution and by laws, they'd have a committee structure(contract administration, training, scheduling, safety, negotiations, strategic planning, etc.), they'd have a representation department, they'd have an engineering and air safety department, they'd have an EF&A department, they'd have a legal department, they'd have professional negotiators, they'd have local representation at all the bases, they'd have an aeromedical department, they'd have a government affairs department and polical action committee, they'd have over $7million in the bank for the Delta pilots, they'd have over $53million in the bank for major contingencies, they'd be ready to represent 12,000 Delta pilots around the world on day one, but DPA doesn't have any of that, just a website.
