I have told you that many feel that restoration of the profession is a two part process, and you cannot have part of the restoration without the other half. That is why it needs to be a solid foundation in which to move forward from. Will we get what you deem as restoration? Maybe, who knows.

I suspect that as Tim takes office on Saturday many things will begin to roll out. Official direction can then be given to the committee structure and to the negotiations to draft a survey to have us fill out. Nothing is happening right now because the transition of leaders is taking place. On Jan 1st, 2011, that changeover will occur.

I suspect that we will see changes in the direction we all want, but until then, let your reps know where you stand. They are the ones that will be giving the direction to the new admin and neg comm. If you do not like what they are doing, get a consensus and recall them. It is your right. If you can't then you are in the minority of your base.

Democracy does not mean getting your way all of the time. It means that there is a debate. As I have seen debate occurs on many levels of the process. It may not be perfect, and can always have some improvement, but it is the best structure we could ever have.
I know how you see ALPA... it doesn't need any further explanation and I don't need a lecture on how democracy works. But you completely dodged my questions. Next?
