I can say, I drink coffee black...no issue there. Also, more than half of the FA's would bring the coffee black, lid on, and provide the sugar/creamer on the side.
I do, however, agree with your position. Had a Capt bring in a "big gulp" type of cup with iced tea. This was the old "shuttle" days in LAX. CS agent came in and kicked it over. Capt had placed it just aft of the 300 pedestal and forgot about it as we were tight on connection. Big cup, 32, 46, or whatever ounces going to the E&E bay we assumed because the lid came off and there was only wet carpet and an empty cup within seconds.
Bottom line, write it up. Let MX do their job. I'd rather be on the ground wishing I was in the air......than the other way around.
On the side, how are things at SAMC?

Changing almost daily! Some of it Good some of it stupid, What I DO know is that unless we do something Pretty QUICK! Taking on all of CAL's airplanes is going to be a master "GOAT ROPE"!
