Nope. Several pros commute, same as flexes. They get jumpseat privileges and have cockpit access. They are required to observe line operations a couple of times a year too.
Interesting...certainly makes the position a bit more lucrative than I had imagined for anyone who could maintain decent QOL with the schedule.
