Personally, I plan on attending Ari-Ben. I already have a BS degree from ERAU. I finished back in 1987. I'm just waiting to get my medical.

I've visited their facilities a number of times unannouced and unscheduled. I just popped in for a visit. Having lived and worked in the Fort Pierce area, I see their a/c flying all the time. True, they've had their issues with maintenance however I firmly believe those issues have been addressed and corrected. The 100hr inspections may come a little more frequently due to the amount of flying thats being done.

I've asked about the time it takes to complete the Pro Pilot Program and from what I gather, just like any other school, it all depends on the student. Yeah, there are going to be circumstances beyond your (my) control. I have to adjust, adapt and overcome. If I get frustrated at every circumstance that arises, IMO, I'm only doing myself harm. I've been told that the program can be completed in as little as 4 months or the usual which takes most students anywhere from 6-8 months to complete. I'm prepared for 10 months if necessary.

I plan on studying, making good use of my instructor, getting with others and going over material as often as I can; making use of every resource that's at my disposal. Hell, I'm paying for it so I might as well. Not going there with my head in the clouds. I'm focused and determined to achieve my MEII. If I'm able to get on with them as instructor, so be it. If not, then I'll look elsewhere.

The one advantage that I have is that when I do finish, I'll owe no money on any loans. My flight training expenses are in an escrow account as we speak. Like I said, I'm just waiting to hear from the FAA concerning my medical. And if I'm not granted a medical, it's graduate school for me!
