Every jumpseat I take up to ANC has news about the EXPRESS. Lots of talk about that, and what it might mean to us currently flying up here. Smoke/fire. Can anyone chime in here? I figured that Era was getting a little big in the britches, running -8's on AS routes, as well as 1900's. Seems like Juneau is looking for more frequency for the big heads in the big house. I know I'd rather be flying a Q into Wrangell than a 737!
As packed as the flight loads have been for months up here, people are really looking for options in travel. It's a totally ripe market for someone to come in and give 'em a run. Maybe this is the shake up AS using to keep that from happening?
